history
Brahma is a Brazilian beer and was created by Joseph Villager. Originally it was made by the Companhia Cervejaria Brahma, and was founded in 1888. The brewery is currently the fifth largest Beer producer in the world. It is now owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev and is one of the most popular brands in Brazil. It embodies ‘Ginga’ ie. Brazilian philosophy and approach to life that fuses creativity and ingenuity: to live life with effortless flair. It comes in a unique, ergonomically designed bottle which is ideal to hold.
Light pale yellow colour with very little carbonation, Aroma is so weak it’s almost non-existent and more like any other lager beer that I can find locally. However it is very smooth and has a light odour.
About the Beer:
Tastes of exceptionally light malt with a hint of sweetness in the background. The aroma and taste are strengthened by grain with some hop in an effort to balance the beer. Mouthfeel is crisp and tingly with a pleasing level of carbonation and absolutely no aftertaste.
Overall, a very simple pale lager beer. However the flavor is nothing more than slightly above mediocre macro lager. It’s not bad, but it isn’t a pro either. Can’t recommend this but if you can’t find clean drinking water then this is the next best drink.
