Feldschlößchen or Feldschlösschen Or Feld Schlos schen

The hue is a pleasing shade of yellow gold with acceptable stability, medium-pored foam, clear brilliance, and reasonably fine carbonization.

Wet grain, spicy malt, caramel, and a faint hint of grassy hops may all be detected. Both viscosity and carbonation are not particularly noticeable. In a way that highlights the subtle hoppiness, it is pleasantly astringent. This tasting starts with a pleasing appearance. The crown has a pretty attractive appearance and is durable.

It has a mildly creamy flavour and an initial flavour that is fairly neutral and devoid of flavour overload. The malt has a slightly sweet appearance, and it is moderately lively. The transition to the straightforward, trim body is absent. The Feldschlößchen Pilsner seems conventional and suited for the general public.

The finish lacks the distinctive hops punch, and the dull grain notes lack depth. By the time you begin to taste the bitter hops at the base of your tongue, the beer is already halfway gone. There isn’t much more this beer can provide at the finish. You simply don’t get much of a chance to taste the Pilsner, so you can’t claim that it tastes horrible or is bad.

Overall it is an acceptable Beer, but there are much better Pilsners available in the market

History About Feldschlößchen Brewery

In 1644 a lone farmhouse at foot of the Hahneberg hill in the southern suburb had already been licensed to sell beer and wine. It was here, outside the farm in the fields, that about forty years later the ‘Schlösschen’ [mansion or large country house] was built, in a popular excursion destination.

In May 1838 The Meisl Brothers Bought The Estate And Began The Construction Of A Lager Brewery In The Old Feldschlößchen [‘Mansion In The Fields’] And In 1858 They Founded The ‘Aktienbrauerei Zum Feldschlößchen’.

In1909 The Feldschlößchen Brewery Was Awarded The Medal Of Merit Of The Royal Capital And Seat Of Dresden.

During The Second World War 55 Per Cent Of The Brewery Was Destroyed. However, Production Was Resumed As Early As 1945.

Today, The Feldschlößchen Brewery, based in the Coschütz district of Dresden, is described as one of the largest breweries in Saxony, and brews a wide range of different beers.
