History:
The Private brauerei Erdinger Weißbräu Werner Brombach GmbH (also
known as Erdinger Weißbräu) is a brewery in Erding, Germany, a small
town in the heart of old Bavaria, 20 miles north east of Munich.
Erdinger is the world’s largest wheat beer brewery and was founded in
1886 by Johann Kienle. Its best-known product is its namesake Weißbiers
(wheat beer). Currently, Erdinger brews nineverities of Beer and is widely
popular across Germany and the European Union.  Brewed in accordance
to the Bavarian Law of Purity 1516, the oldest food law in the world,
Erdinger Weissbier uses the finest wheat, barley and malt together with
selected hops and crystal clear water to produce one of the world’s finest
and most refreshing wheat beer. The beer is still bottle-fermented in the
traditional way taking three to four weeks to mature.

About the beer:
ERDINGER Weißbier – The taste of Bavaria. This hefeweizen pours a hazy
gold colour with a foamy white head which did not last for long but there
was a constant stream of rising carbonation from within the brew.
A lively carbonation brings delicate aroma of bananas and cloves. This is a
balanced and good wheat beer for those who want to experiment a wheat
beer not overpowered by fruit flavors. A medium body and crisp dry finish
makes this a very refreshing drink, pure and simple. Erdinger is horribly
underrated in the market. I know it is neither the strongest, nor the most
flavourful weissbier, as they are expected to be utterly delicious. There
are better and delicious Hefeweize Beers available, but Erdinger Hefeweize
is one of the most drinkable beers I’ve ever tasted.

My Own Rating:
Aroma : 8/10
Appearance : 7/10
Taste : 8/10
Palate : 7/10
Overall : 7/10

Note: I managed to find this beer @ Newtown Super Market, Candolim, Goa.
