Beer Name : Kingfisher Ultra Max,

History:
It all began with 5 breweries in South India with the oldest being Castle Breweries, which dates back to 1857. These breweries were re-named as United Breweries in 1915 and the company was bought by the late Mr. Vittal Mallya in 1947. Kingfisher is an Indian beer brewed by United Breweries Group, Bangalore.
The brand “Kingfisher” was launched in 1978. With a market share of over 36% in India, it is also available in 52 other countries. Kingfisher was ranked 74th among India’s most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report 2012. Today, each one of the 89,763 outlets selling beer in India, sell at least one brand from United Breweries.
According to the data of All India BrewersAssociation (AIBA), the beer industry in India is valued at Rs 25,000 crores with 23 million hector liters of beer being sold every year.
About the beer:
“The King of Good Times,” Ultra Max pours a predictably light-golden body. Carbonation is less than I expect from the brand. The head disappears before you can look again. The taste is smoother, lighter, and less sweet than Kingfisher Premium. I detect some very faint flavors of corn Syrup with a minor touch of grassiness in the finish. The beer is smooth with light aftertaste and is refreshing. As per Kingfisher, this is due to a slow-brewing and prolonged maturation process, using the finest imported malt, gives Kingfisher Ultra MAX a full-flavoured ‘Maximum Taste’ which is smooth and easy-to-drink.
There are many International Brands Brewing Beer in India (Like Buds, Peroni, Carlsberg Etc) and they produce much better Beer compared to Kingfisher, But Kingfisher definitely stands ahead compared to any other Indian Brewery.
Overall it was a distinctive, refined beer packed with a punch.
