Dennis started building Franconia in 2007, and on February 26, 2008, they produced their first batch of this beer.
I was glad to see that Franconia Brewing Company have taken several measures in the Brewery to Go Green.

Lets talk about Kölsch style Beer – The Kölsch  (“coell – shh”) brew is an obscure style that originates from Köln (“Cologne”), Germany.
Don’t let the mysterious nature of this Beer fool you, It is one in only an handful of traditional German Ales produced and is the only genuine All-Barley , Pale Ale made in Germany. Even though it is not widely popular throughout Germany, But it is number one beer in its hometown Köln and is recognized as one of the major brewing styles of the world

About The Beer:
This Beer is medium body, extremely pale and is light golden in colour with exceptional clarity and a wispy, quick- vanishing white head. The aromas of apple, pear, cherry and other fruits are paired with a faint hops undertone that seems to match its light and airy appearance. It is soft and delicate with a balance palate and gentle dryness that hangs on into the finish. The taste was pleasant with a good balance of flavours.
I couldn’t pull out anything distinct though. I would recommend light beer drinkers to switch to something like this.

My Own Rating:
Aroma : 8/10
Appearance : 7/10
Taste : 7/10
Palate : 7/10
Overall : 7/10
